Songkran

I will reconsider the option of moving over to livejournal. I realised the only way you can post comments there if you are neither a livejournal member nor want to be an anonymous commenter, you have to get an account on any blog address and have an URL.

Back to the post, I told myself time and again that I will never go back to Thailand for a holiday. It’s not that the place isn’t good, but I don’t wish to go back to a country too many times! I’ve been to Phuket and Bangkok twice each in my life and going there again wasn’t an option till now. Maybe next year, I will.

I like the idea of Songkran, the Thai new year. The whole idea of splashing or “super soaking” random people on the streets seem like a lot fun. And the best thing is, nobody will be angry with you. The thing about Songkran is that, there’s no boundaries, the whole (almost) country is your battleground, you could even do a real life counter-strike in the hotel you stay in. It just seems like fun!

The festival for this year is over, next year, maybe next year =)
